This painting was extremely hard for me. I painted over this painting about four times. It wasn't showing what I wanted to portray. I was happy with the end result.

I choose to make a mini book about Selena Quintanilla. She has been a huge inspiration to me for as long as I can remember. I think this is a important story to tell because not a lot of people know her story. She affects so many people in he Latino Community. Selena is one out of few Latina role models. Fans adored Selena for being talented but humble. Her story is something people can relate to. It gives people hope and motivation. Her story continues to live on. I used Illustrator for the drawings.
